Terrible Yellow Eyes

Hey do you remember Where the Wild Things Are? Cory Godbey certainly does! He had the fantastic idea, to not only pay tribute to this classic himself, but to gather a wild army of illustrators to help him out. "We share a love and admiration for Sendak's work and the pieces we present here are done as a tribute to his life and legacy."

Every friday for the past 3 weeks, illustrations start trickling into his blog Terrible Yellow Eyes. Cory himself has posting 5 or more beautiful pieces already, and it has been a blast to watch the variety of illustrations pop in.

ello ello! So at FV we are collaborating on something called WTD (What the Doodle!?) Every two weeks(ish), we will be running a really fancy word generator, then creating an illustration of that word. This week we happened to get "Vinyl", so enjoy!

Castle Crashers awesome!

Hey there! I just wanted to post this process video from the folks at The Behemoth, makers of the game Castle Crashers. First and foremost, it is possibly the funniest game on the Xbox 360. All of the artwork was originally created in Flash, then pumped into the system.

Altho the game, by design, is just a button mashing frenzy, it really feels like your are experiencing an interactive illustration, making it feel much more engaging than your average streets of rage type game. (TMNT and simpsons arcade game would also apply there) :)
